This is something we should all read at least once a week!

My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:

1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.

9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about..
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it..
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.
16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'
27. Always choose life.

-"you never know what coming for you"

last Wednesday till Friday, me an my course mate went for an industrial visit at Perak, Pahang and Kelantan. so that's the reason for my absence.. heh.. it was a great trip and a good exposure to my work field.. i spare the details for my future post once i got pictures from my friends (actually kind a bit lazy to blog bout it now, so pictures later might do the trick)..

i'd just finished watching The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and what i can say is, its TOTALLY AWESOME... Cate Blanchett do looks mesmerizingly stunning there and Brad Pitt, like all the ladies told me, he's outrageously handsome.. worth saliva dropping.. that's what i can tell when our English Lec told the class her review about the movie..

its indeed a must watch movie.. it put much emphasis on the appreciation of life and love... something about living the life the way we wanted it to be and its never too late to be ourselves.. i learnt a lot.. a movie is not something that you just sit and watch and then you said 'yeah, its a good movie' or 'darn, did i'd spent my Rm9 for such a lame movie'.. its the lesson to be learnt in it that matter..

too bad it lost to Slumdog's Millionaire (which by the way is another freakin great movie) in the Academy Award but then its worth of the nomination.. well, i want to share some of my favourite lines in the movie.. hope it'll be something for you and me to hold on to in life..

i've been holding on to this words for this past years.. life is not easy since i'm not perfect.. aren't we all not? criticisms are able to become an energy drive for us to strive for better or even worse.. but criticisms without knowing the real situation is something that we should avoided.. we view things differently according to our own perspectives and beliefs.. we walk in different paths and different shoes.. we face a lot of trials in our journey and the way we handle it are differ from each other..

whatever things that we see in others; their situations, problems and etc are only the surface of it.. we tend to make assumptions on their deeds and attitudes without knowing what the real agenda behind it all.. thats why we ask.. to be in their shoes, try to see the way they see and walk in their paths.. some of us might be living a wrong path cause life is after all about trials and errors.. we never know failures till we have one, we never know hurt till we feel one, we never know isolation till we face one.. and from all these we'll learn cause we experienced it..like a child, if we too scared of them doing things that they want to do because of own self anxiety, they will never learn a thing..

thats what we are, we are learner of life and we'll never stop learning till our last breath.. in our daily life, we'll face a lot of criticisms because that what people do best, but accept it with an open heart and if you believe in what you are doing don't give a damn thoughts about it.. if they are willing to say it in front of your face, say what you need to say, your real situations.. don't let them be overwhelmed with their own perceptions to you.. whatever it is, just be strong to handle it aite...

i'm not perfect but still i got a great life given by God to live!! :)

-its ur choice...

i read a post by a friend of mine regarding some matters that happened in his life... he stated that no matter how positive you are, the facts of life still and always be the facts of life.. well, its true dude, we can't change whatever we received and by hook or by crock we have to accept it kan.. and its our choice to whether we want to keep on dwelling with regret of it or we view it the other way round.. we rarely get what we want to -thats a fact.. and to be able to perceive whatever it is in a much positive manner well for me will change the whole idea.. like my lec said: we are the drive of our own car, not our parents nor our friends.. whatever happen along the way, we are the one who will deal with it.. we can opt whatever choices we that lies in front of us.. imagine, if our car is stranded at the side of the road because of some damn engine problem; we can choose either to just sit and don't give a damn of it or we can try to check whatever stuff we can do to fix it.. its our choice..

some "facts of life" may not be that great for some people.. well, all people have their own stories of sorrow, of joy and etc and its how they view it that make all the differences.. life is a journey they say, so deal with whatever misfortunes along the way in an appropriate way.. people may laugh to some of those so called positive minded people but that wouldn't hurt them a bit coz they view it differently.. so dude, this is my point of view.. our ideas maybe different but that what makes our life richer.. so cheers...

-cHapter 6: March...

whoah.. it's been quite a long time since i posted anything.. heh2.. life has been pretty busy lately, a lot of this and that...

last weekend, me and jude went for MCSC meeting (MCSC=Malaysian Catholic Students' Council)..
a great experience for me of course coz i get to meet other people from other dioceses.. and one more interesting thing was that i saw how Father's act in normal day.. yeah, those Father whom we only see on Sunday or religious events.. so solemn and so holy.. but truth was, they were fun to hang out with.. seriously they were so funny and their jokes were something that i could never think of will be from them (for me at least, seldom bah get to meet any Father instead of at church).. maybe because they were the Fathers in charge of the youth.. hmm learnt a lot from the meeting too..

then, on Wednesday me and Esyra finally treated Pak Tuan (our lec) Pizza after we've been promising it to him since last sem.. yeah, i admitted that both of us had been procrastinating since we got no class with him this sem.. still, the feelings of guilt really haunted us ok.. so we bought him a new pizza set together with chicken wings.. we thought that he would asked us to join him to eat but no..( still we are sincere treating him keh).. i'm sure he want to enjoy the meal alone in his room.. haha..

last Friday, we had our CUS (Catholic Undergraduate Society) AGM to choose a new committee
and guess what i was elected as the president.. gosh, is this what they called it as God's calling.. at first i'm quite in doubt to accept the task since i'm really not a good model in this thing but thinking about it again.. i accept it as maybe this is God's test for me kan.. hmm should i be more pious and be real good after this.. nah.. i guess i should be just the way i am now.. no2 to hypocrite.. then, later that night i cannot sleep until 6 am in the morning coz i' been thinking a lot what to do to make my batch one of the best.. pray for our success aite.. :)

yesterday, me and my fellow friends (all guys) went for shopping for our CUS dinner next week..
we will combining with USM Minden (they are the host actually).. the theme is glamorous.. so, the attire that i picked i don't know whether it looks good or not.. we wanted to go jamming before that but the jamming station was fully booked.. guess that we had no luck yesterday..

haha.. what a long post.. i wonder if there's any people interested to read it.. neway, a happy belated birthday to two mancit friends of mine.. abang rain and kak abs.. wishing both of you a good life..
